Introduction
Founded in 1949, Lindholm Roofing began with one employee, Thomas Lindholm. After years of working on black tar and gravel roofs in the local Chicago area, Thomas expanded his business with his three sons and added more roofing services, such as shingle, metal, and other flat roofing techniques related to tar and gravel roofing. The third generation of Lindholms further bolstered the business’ roofing options, adding a considerably wide variety of new services.
Customer Relations
Lindholm Roofing grew its clientele based almost entirely on the endorsements of its previous clients. Over the years, positive word of mouth regarding Lindholm Roofing's quality production and excellent customer service has propelled its business to expansion and success. After completing its services, Lindholm Roofing provides its clients with helpful tips on how to maintain their newly restored roof by informing them to keep an eye indoors for discolored drywall, peeling wallpaper, or cracked paint and outdoors for any cracked or missing shingles or deteriorated flashing. The sooner clients know their roof is in need of repair the faster Lindholm Roofing can solve their problems. Lindholm Roofing always puts its customers first by ensuring that their services are provided in a safe and timely manner. Lindholm completes residential roofs in one to two days and is equipped with insurance for workers' comp and general liability.
Community Involvement
Staying involved in the community that supports them is important to the Lindholms, which is why Lindholm Roofing holds memberships with many local chambers of commerce, the National Roofing Contractors Association, and the Better Business Bureau. Lindholm Roofing also sponsors local baseball and softball teams and donates to the Salvation Army and Misericordia. In 2006 and 2007, Lindholm Roofing consecutively received the Duro-Last Master Contractor Quality Award, which demonstrates just how far the business has come since 1949.
