Introduction
Thomas Lindholm began his own roofing business, aptly named Lindholm Roofing, in the 1950s. His company began small, and Thomas spent many years working on the roofs without any other labor. During this time, black tar and gravel roofs were the company’s primary focus. Thomas Lindholm’s superb quality of work and the company’s excellent customer service began to gain recognition, and before too long, the company started to grow.
Background
In the 1980s, the second generation of Lindholms became actively involved in the family roofing business. For two decades, Lindholm Roofing expanded its services to provide shingle roofing, metalworking, and more advanced flat roofing techniques. As Lindholm Roofing gradually mastered its additions, the company continued to grow. The second generation of Lindholm roofers made further additions to its areas of expertise, including gutter work, siding, masonry, and windows. Lindholm Roofing continues to provide quality work, which has always remained a paramount part of the company’s operation. Beginning in 2000, the third generation of the Lindholms entered the company fulltime.
Present Day
Today, Lindholm Roofing is recognized as one of the largest and most trusted and respected roofers in the industry in the greater Chicago area. As is Lindholm Roofing’s custom, it stays ahead of the curve by incorporating newer and more advanced techniques in the roofing industry, such as “green” roofing, into its available services. Lindholm Roofing is now more accessible to clients via the internet. Lindholm Roofing is also a member in good standing with the Chicago Roofing Contractors, The National Roofing Contractors Association, the Better Business Bureau, and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Lindholm Roofing and its employees understand the importance of community and charity, and they have collectively donated to the Neediest Kids Fund, Misericordia Heart of Mercy, and the Salvation Army.
