Leslie Lockridge - Professional Summary:     

Over the course of his professional and educational career, Dr. Leslie Lockridge has received multiple accolades for his comprehensive understanding of hematology and oncology, including the Morris K. Kaplan Student Research Fellowship and Partners in Excellence Award from Dana–Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Leslie Lockridge has served as a Hematologist and an Oncologist at North Country Hospital in Newport, Vermont, and the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, where he was the Associate Director of its Internal Medicine Residency Program from 2004 to 2006.

Shortly after receiving certification in hematology from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2002, Dr. Leslie Lockridge accepted a position at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. During this time, he served as a Preceptor for the Physical Diagnosis course at the Brown University Medical School. From 2002 to 2006, Dr. Leslie Lockridge also served Brown as a member of its Oncology Group and an Assistant Professor of Medicine, receiving the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award twice.

Over the past decade, Dr. Leslie Lockridge has made significant contributions to the body of literature by which his colleagues remain apprised of developments in the profession. From 2005 to 2006, he served as an editor of the inpatient syllabus for the Internal Medical Residency Program at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. Moreover, he has been published in Community Oncology and the American Journal of Kidney Clinics, focusing on multiple myeloma, renal failure, and essential thrombocytosis. Dr. Lockridge remained on the Infection, Transfusion, and Transmission Committee of the NCH Healthcare System until 2012.
