leslie danon - Professional Summary:     

Leslie Danon was raised in Orange County -- which was difficult considering she looked like Wednesday Addams as a child -- and Los Angeles, California. Her parents left home when she was a teen to pursue careers on the East Coast, leaving her and her younger brother a large house in the city that, oddly enough, also struck an uncanny resemblance to the Addams Family house. Since it was the 80's the experience is fondly remembered as a John Hues movie rather than criminal negligence on the part of her parents. After graduating from high school -- one that she likens to The Bad News Bears of private schools -- Leslie traveled the world, finally ending up in the North Pole, where it was very, very cold, so she came home. She spent the next decade and a half starring in Movies with Hilary Swank, Robert Downey Jr, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as many TV shows, and a Budweiser commercial that debuted during one of the Super Bowls (circa '2000?). She has also been in some unbelievably stupid projects--which she will not name for fear of hurting any untalented person's feelings. Reaching her 30's Leslie became tired of pretending to be ten years younger in order to work and decided it was time for a soft landing. The "ticking clock" prompted her toward a few super-ridiculous metro-type boyfriends before reconnecting with her handsome BFF from Beverly Hills High School whom she knew through her fourth cousin. They now have two young children who have already promised to buy their loving parents a retirement home in a tropical, yet civilized, location when they grow up.

Leslie has recently started doing stand up comedy based on being a mother and what it was like growing up in an ethnically ambiguous family. She has appeared at the Hollywood Improv as well as other popular venues around Los Angeles.
