Retired businessman Leslie Buck lives with his wife and fraternal teenage twins along the Eastern Shore in Maryland. After relocating from San Diego, California, Leslie Buck and his wife have dedicated their time to their children and the community. Along with homeschooling, Leslie Buck coaches and sponsors sports programs for other children in the county. The Leslie Buck Foundation, run by its namesake, has performed numerous acts of charity, helping to build five new soccer fields and lobbying for a new community activity center. One of Leslie Buck’s most notable contributions is acting as President of the Bayshore Soccer Club. An All-Conference left wing at Princeton University and a success in the business world, Leslie Buck was a natural fit for the position. Representing boys and girls ages 8-17, the Bayshore Soccer Club has provided a platform for competitive youth soccer since 2004. Along with Leslie Buck, the board consists of numerous former college players, a former Major League Soccer player, and a current and former college coach. During his 30 years as a businessman, Leslie Buck worked for such companies as Sea Pines Real Estate, R.L. Burns Corporation, Vista Partners, which he co-founded, and Xelan, Inc. Leslie Buck earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. In the U.S. Navy, Leslie Buck flew 110 air combat missions, for which he earned five air combat medals, the Navy Commendation Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal.
