Personal Statement:
I believe as a key member of any organisation in constantly challenging and improving the process, by searching for opportunities to change the ‘Status Quo', i.e. continually improving quality procedures. I believe I can make a difference and I would share this inspired vision by trying to envision the future, creating new ideals and image of the organisation.

To achieve these goals I model the way, leading by example and influence others to action by building a spirited and strong team and involving others, influencing them to help themselves. I would ensure we have a mutual, respectful understanding of achievements, which would strengthen the team, making each member feel more capable, more powerful and able to achieve. To this end I have a "hands on" approach to my roles and involvement in the whole life cycle of a project.

Prior to Nortel, was a freelance professional for 6 years working with companies such as: Barclays, BCL Leisure, BT, Norwich Union, Guardian Royal Exchange, RGL Leisure and Belling Engineering as a System Analyst/Developer responsible for delivering finance, insurance and pension projects.
Headed up a bespoke software house, (LVT Computer Systems), for 4 years providing delivery of solutions to the: car, financial, leisure and private health industries.

 In the performance of my duties, I have overall responsibility for leading and delivery of telecom voice and data technology projects and processes associated with voice-based transactions. This includes identifying technologies that may improve the revenue or profitability of the company within its chosen markets (e.g. IN, EContact Suite, CRM, CTI, and Mobile), and also voice technologies that may expand available markets. I am also responsible for mentoring team members.
In these roles I have continued to use a hands-on approach where necessary in the implementation, delivery and installation of the projects, especially on protocol programming using Batch File, C++, Java, Perl, Visual Basic, VoiceXML, UNIX Scripting, and Oracle/MS 2000/MS SQL Databases accessed using SQL and Forms.
