Acted as Trusted Staffing Advisor to the Microsoft Internal Business System group (MSIT) which developed all the internal applications utilized by MSFT for day to day operations.

•Primary point of contact for internal clients/Business owners for staffing strategies to meet high volume hiring demands
•Core tech skills included C#, C++, .Net, SQL including Systems Analyst, Architects, Software Developers and Test, Marketing and Communication Managers, Solution and Program Managers, Directors, Business Managers, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management Managers
•Partnered with internal hiring groups (Finance, HR, Legal, Business owners) to manage headcount to budget
•Responsible for developing and driving various initiatives to enhance staffing / hiring processes and strategies
•Managed the visa processing activities and on boarding practices for external candidates
•Consultant to hiring groups in developing job profiles, interviewing, and selection processes for external candidates
•Championed and trained client groups on the OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program) process for all recruiting and hiring activities
•Develop reporting metrics and delivered presentations to internal business partners and leadership team on staffing activities and industry highlights to ensure SLA's are followed
•Collaborate with Human Resource Business and Internal Staffing Partners regarding various recruiting processes, compensation and employee leveling issues

•Educate hiring managers on behavioral interviewing processes, OFCCP and EEO policies
•Network with other staffing groups to share best practices in candidate generation and placement
•Collaborate with our Diversity Recruiting and Global Sourcing Teams to generate key talent for future and current positions
•Maintained a pulse on industry and salary trends to educate team and client groups
•Conducted due diligence and maintained data integrity on candidate tracking and hiring documentation in ATS (XP10)

 

Projects:
•Designed and implemented an internal recruiting web portal that provides a one-stop shop for all MSIT internal client groups. Developed on an ITWEB platform to include internal and external hiring resources coupled with information on recruiting activities, POC's, OFCCP compliance and staffing processes for both US and International spaces.
•Designed and developed a Customer Satisfaction Survey to identify levels of satisfaction and development needs from internal client groups and external candidates. The information was presented to MSIT Staffing Consultants to improve processes and highlight best practices.
•Developed and promoted a quarterly newsletter to increase awareness on MSIT Staffing activity and achievements to internal clients. Contents included industry trends and news, diversity events, training and recruiting activities, and active open position for both US and international spaces.
•Continuously championed Diversity to hiring managers by driving education and awareness through presentations, leadership meetings, and interview processes.
•Initiated and successfully launched Intact Interviewer Training class with support from my Business Owners leadership team. Required attendees were MSIT hiring managers. Class is designed to educate new hiring managers and enhance existing manager's interview techniques and processes
•Partnered with other Staffing Consultants to develop a fun recognition and rewards program for all SMSG Recruiters
