LaFon Jantz

Dedicating her life to the service of others, LaFon Jantz represented her peers as Student Body President of Everett High School in Washington and went on to study business and marketing at Seattle Pacific University. During her tenure as an undergraduate, LaFon Jantz met her husband. A recognized author and eating disorder specialist, Dr. Gregg Jantz asked LaFon Jantz for research assistance on his work Losing Weight Permanently: Secrets from the 2 Percent Club. Dr. Gregg and LaFon Jantz found themselves natural and effective collaborators, and when Dr. Gregg Jantz founded The Center for Counseling and Health Resources, LaFon Jantz assumed her current role as Counselor and Associate. At The Center for Counseling and Health Resources, LaFon Jantz fulfills a number of responsibilities and supports patients coping with a number of personal challenges, among them drug rehabilitation, eating disorders, depression, gambling, and abuse. In addition to assisting patients at the center, LaFon Jantz also strives to serve her community. LaFon Jantz is actively involved with Moms In Touch International, an organization that unites mothers worldwide to pray for their children and their schools. LaFon Jantz acts as Region 3 Field Encourager and RFI Assistant for the Washington State Support Team. Dedicated to promoting a message of hope and assisting those in need, LaFon Jantz also leads prayer groups to Nicaragua through the charity Forward Edge International, which provides food and shelter.
