About Kyleen Cane
Kyleen Cane is a published author and lawyer who headquarters her legal practice, Cane Clark LLP, in Las Vegas, Nevada. A holder of multiple state bar licenses, Kyleen Cane received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. Graduating in three years, Kyleen Cane was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Following her undergraduate studies, Kyleen Cane earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, graduated in the top 5% of her class, and was invited to join the Order of the Coif.
Kyleen Cane enjoyed a long tenure as a professor of Business Law and Real Estate at the University of Hawaii College of Business. Kyleen Cane’s exceptional work and expertise garnered her the position of Chairman of the Department of Financial Economics and Institutions. Kyleen Cane has held additional teaching positions, serving as a Visiting Professor of Law with Western State University College of Law and the Whittier College School of Law. Several years after leaving her position as a Visiting Professor with Western State University School of Law, Kyleen Cane returned to the institution as a full Professor of Law, in which capacity she served for five years.
After relocating to the State of Nevada in 1997, Kyleen Cane co-established the law firm Cane, O'Neill Taylor LLC. After some internal reorganization, Kyleen Cane and her partner, Bryan Clark, changed the firm’s name to Cane Clark LLP. Kyleen Cane specializes in the legal area of Corporate and Securities Law.
In addition to numerous legal articles, Kyleen Cane has published five books and written two novels.
Kyleen Cane maintains membership in the State Bars of Washington, Hawaii, Nevada, and California. Kyleen Cane has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the American Bar Association’s Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access and the Audiotext Forum Award for her work regarding the delivery of legal services over the phone.
