Kyle Bowker is an American professional poker player from Walton, New York currently residing in New York City. He is very popular in online poker tournaments and has made cashes under the screen name “knob20”. He started playing live poker games since 2005 and has participated in many cash games as well as major tournaments like World Series of Poker (WSOP) and World Poker Tour (WPT).
On 11th October 2005, Kyle Bowker ranked third in the No-Limit Hold'em event of the 3rd Annual East Coast Poker Championship. Later that year, Kyle Bowker entered the World Poker Finals/WPT Event Season 4 No-Limit Hold'em event and his fourth-place finish earned him $37,470. Kyle Bowker pocketed $10,400 in prize money and the runner-up title by finishing second in the Super Satellite – No-Limit Hold'em event at the Goldstrike World Poker Open/WPT Season 4. His major victory in the WSOP tournament came in 2006, when Kyle Bowker finished second in the No-Limit Hold’em Short Handed event at the Grand Casino Tunica Poker tournament, and earned $36,805. In August 2006, he cashed a whopping amount of $247,399 in the No-Limit Hold’em event of the 37th Annual World Series of Poker, a tournament which had 9000 contestants. In the same year, he took home $48,293 by participating in the No-Limit Hold’em event of North American Poker Championship Season 5.
In 2007, Kyle Bowker pocketed $12,653 when he played in the No-Limit Hold’em event of the 38th Annual World Series of Poker. On June 9th 2008, Kyle Bowker finished sixth in the No-Limit Hold’em event at the 39th Annual WSOP Shootout, and bagged a hefty $23,887. In the same month, he took part in the No-Limit Hold’em event of the Friday No-Limit Hold’em tournament, and walked away with $47,670 from his fourth-place finish. As of 2008, his earnings through live tournaments have exceeded $471,915.
Kyle Bowker is the first player ever to win two events in PokerStars' fifth World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). In 2006, he won $350 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo event and $530 Omaha Hi/Lo event at the PokerStars’ WCOOP tournament. Kyle Bowker still plays on all popular poker portals like PokerStars, UltimateBet, FullTiltPoker, and PartyPoker.
