Kimberly Palczynski has dedicated her life to enriching her community by advancing cultural and artistic endeavors. A graduate of the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, Kimberly Palczynski studied interior design and architecture. While earning her BS, Kimberly Palczynski traveled to Nepal, where she developed a love for the architecture and monumental structures. Kimberly Palczynski has utilized her training, education, and experience to advance awareness of human rights abuses committed against Tibetans by the Chinese government. In 2006, Kimberly Palczynski led a fundraising effort in Los Angeles for the Los Angeles-based non-profit Tools for Peace, an organization dedicated to the betterment of children that employs Tibetan cultural practices while teaching children methods for developing compassion and well being. Kimberly Palczynski supports several other philanthropic organizations, such as the International Campaign for Tibet, Chagdud Gonpa Foundation, and Ripa Ladrang Foundation. Kimberly Palczynski possesses a wide-reaching knowledge of and appreciation for art and architecture from all over the world. Since 2008, Kimberly Palczynski has performed art and architecture tours of places around the world, including Italy, Russia, and Nepal. Furthermore, while sitting on the board of the Godstow Retreat Center in Redding, Connecticut, Kimberly Palczynski oversaw the implementation of yoga, teaching, and meditation programs in the retreat center in the former home of Martha and Maurice Pate, the founders of UNICEF. Previously, Kimberly Palczynski worked with Simon Pearce, a master American artisan who creates hand blown glass and pottery in Vermont and Maryland. Currently, Kimberly Palczynski sponsors the Wangdor Rinpoche Foundation for elderly refugee Tibetan families in India and continues to travel to Nepal to donate books and clothing to child refugee camps.
