Kevin Nolan is a professional football player born on June 24, 1982 in Liverpool, England. He was brought up in Toxteth, Liverpool and went to the Liverpool Blue Coat School in Wavertree, Liverpool. He got engaged in 2005 and the couple has a daughter Jasmine Elizabeth, who was born in November 2006.
Kevin Nolan grew up in a football-playing family and desired to become a footballer from a young age. He was a big fan of Liverpool since childhood, but his favorite players were Eric Cantona and Lee Sharpe, who played for Manchester United, Liverpool’s arch rivals.
Kevin Nolan has represented England internationally at the Under-21 level and commentators regard him as a potential candidate to play for the England squad. He can also play for the Republic of Ireland at the international level because of his Irish ancestry.
Kevin Nolan played for the City of Liverpool's schoolboys’ team at the age of fourteen. He was asked by a friend to attend a Bolton youth team session and before long he was signed up by the club. With the opening of the Bolton Academy, he was handed a year-to-year contract. In 1999 he signed a professional contract with the senior team of the club and made his first team debut in the 1999-2000 season at the age of seventeen.
During 2001-2002, his first season in the English Premier League (EPL), he scored eight goals in the league, and this included two goals on the opening day of the season at Leicester City. The next season, Kevin Nolan helped his club to register an stunning victory over EPL giants Manchester United at Old Trafford by scoring the winning goal.
