About Ken Whelan
Upon receipt of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Ken Whelan gained admission to the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in Los Angeles. From August 1996 to May 2000, Dr. Ken Whelan learned multiple aspects of corrective and cosmetic dentistry at the University of Southern California, ultimately graduating in the top of his class (clinical) with his D.D.S. degree. Three years later, Dr. Ken Whelan went on to found Ken Whelan DDS in Aliso Viejo, California, where he promotes a diverse specialization in dental surgery. Since then, numerous satisfied patients throughout Orange County have thanked Dr. Ken Whelan for their healthy, beautiful smiles.
In his practice as Ken Whelan DDS, Dr. Ken Whelan offers a vast array of surgical and nonsurgical procedures to correct, replace, and whiten teeth. Providing the finest treatment through sleep and twilight dentistry, laser dentistry, fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, extractions, and more, Dr. Ken Whelan utilizes state-of-the-art methods and technology. Dr. Ken Whelan has also received post-doctoral training at the Dental Implant Institute of Las Vegas, where he learned advanced techniques in Implant and Periodontal Surgery. To this day, Dr. Ken Whelan pursues continuing education and research into improved forms of cosmetic dental procedures, allowing patients to rest easy that their dental health lies in the most capable hands.
A member of a wide range of American and international dental organizations, Dr. Ken Whelan regularly collaborates with other professionals in the field to broaden his expertise. Over the years, Dr. Ken Whelan has been an active participant in the American Board of Family Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Association, the Mid America Orthodontic Society, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, among others.
