Professional Summary:     As the Senior Outreach Worker for Sunshine Childrens Centre Charity, my role involves undertaking homevisits to parents and families in the local community to provide support, advice and a listening ear. My outreach role also includes meeting with parents and their young children at baby clinics and toddler groups in order to ‘signpost' and inform them of our various Childrens Centre activities.

 

 

Professional Experience:     My previous work experience includes working with the homeless in London, with young people involved in substance misuse, those with mental health issues, Children Looked After by the Local Authority and I have also worked with refugees and asylum seekers both in the UK and overseas.  

 

Education:     Qualified as a Social Worker in 2004 from the University of Sussex.

 

 

Interests:     I enjoy swimming, music and travel and am also kept busy looking after my toddler.
