During her time as a college undergraduate, Karen Grun traveled to Paris, France, to study at the Sorbonne. At the end of this period, Karen Grun earned a Diplôme Semestriel. An honors graduate, Karen Grun made several appearances on the Dean’s List and held membership in the Phi Sigma Iota International Honor Society for excellence in foreign language studies. A state-certified teacher of French and Spanish, Karen Grun performed administrative duties and taught classes at elementary, middle, and high schools. Today, Karen Grun continues to take language classes and teaches Spanish to adults during her free time. An attorney and former judge as well, Karen Grun commands a diverse range of legal focuses. Karen Grun has worked as a Court Hearing Officer, Court Legal Specialist in Domestic Violence, Administrative Law Judge, and In-House Labor Counsel. A longtime volunteer, Karen Gunn has provided aid to countless victims of domestic violence and senior facility residents over the years.
