About Kaled Kandil
Kaled Kandil - Professional Summary: A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with a history of running a successful small business, Kaled Kandil currently serves as a contract support specialist for The Premier Group and a web designer for DesignLinx. He studied computer science and graphic design at the University of Houston for three years before joining a specialized networking team at Tenneco Gas in Houston. During the yearlong project, Kaled Kandil contributed his skills as a software/hardware support analyst to building and launching a new hardware system as well as network cabling.
His team also installed operating systems and performed troubleshooting on all levels. Kaled Kandil’s first experience at The Premier Group was from 1994 to 2000. As Operations Manager for the automotive marketing company, Kaled Kandil handled technical issues and troubleshooting for Microsoft, Novell 4, and other software programs, as well as various computer hardware. He also designed and maintained Structured Query Language (SQL) databases, helping the company to meet new technology challenges in the marketing industry.
Next, Kaled Kandil operated his own successful small business, Thisizit Computer Solutions, for seven years before re-joining The Premier Group in 2007. Today, Kaled Kandil enjoys being a team member at The Premier Group while also providing independent consulting services and web development expertise to DesignLinx. Kaled Kandil is proud to be a CompTIA A+ Certified Service Technician and industry-certified in the Adobe programs, Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
In addition, he has achieved proficiency in more than 20 additional programs, networks, and operating systems, including RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) Level 5 for enhanced data storage. In addition to being an accomplished software engineer, Kaled Kandil excels as a singer/songwriter who enjoys performing at open mic shows. In his free time, he also reads fiction, plays tennis, and goes fishing at lakes in the Austin area.
