A mixed martial artist and veteran of the United States Military, Justin Nauling has amassed a number of notable professional achievements over the course of his career. A former member of the Marine Corps, Mr. Nauling spent periods in both the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and the 1st Intelligence Battalion, serving in these units from 1995 through 2002. During this period, Justin Nauling ascended to the rank of Platoon Sergeant and performed in various other roles, including Small Arms Weapons Instructor and Range Coach, Marine Combat Instructor of Water Survival, and Black Belt Instructor in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. At the end of his tenure in the Marines, Mr. Nauling took his martial arts expertise into the professional arena, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai at Brausa Academy in Tempe, Arizona.
Over the next several years, Justin Nauling took part in multiple Rage in the Cage MMA events, competing against top fighters from the United States and abroad. With a record of five wins and two losses, Mr. Nauling enjoyed victories against established and amateur competitors alike, along with defeats at the hands of such fighters as former WEC Lightweight champion Jamie Varner. In addition to his intensive MMA training regimen, Justin Nauling attended classes at the University of Maryland and the University of Phoenix, where he pursued studies in organizational security and management.
More recently, Justin Nauling served in the U.S. Navy, operating in visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) and weapons instructor capacities. In his free time, he enjoys all manner of recreational activities. He trains in CrossFit, runs, plays beach volleyball, and practices martial arts on a regular basis.
