About Jordan Yarosh
Music producer and drummer Jordan Yarosh has extensive practical and educational experience in the music industry. Yarosh first entered school to focus strictly on business, but moved on to study Studio Recording Technology at Nassau Community College. During that time, he maintained a high GPA and made the dean’s list all three semesters. Jordan Yarosh returned to school in 2010, enrolling at New York University. Combining his love of music with his background in business, Jordan Yarosh enrolled in the Music Business program at NYU. To this day, Yarosh continues his record of academic success, maintaining a 3.8 grade point average.
While pursuing a musical- and business-related education, Jordan Yarosh has also worked in different roles throughout the music industry. While working on his certificate, Yarosh worked as an assistant engineer at Media Recording Studios in Merrick, New York. After six months with Media Recording Studios, he began an internship with Quad Recording Studios in Times Square. In addition to performing general studio work, Yarosh has done significant amounts of production work on albums for The Candy Apples and Liquid Picasso.
Outside of work, Jordan Yarosh continues to build his own personal music reputation. Yarosh operates his own recording studio, which includes outboard gear and Protools LE 8 software. He can work with acoustic and electronic sounds, accommodating both single performers and full bands.
Jordan Yarosh has played drums for over 10 years. In addition to drumming for hire, he drums for his band, The Sliders. Yarosh worked on the production of their debut album, songs from which garnered over 125,000 downloads at frostclick.com.
