A highly trained veterinary professional, Jonathan Rubinstein, DVM, began preparing for his career as a student at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where he earned a bachelor of arts in biology and anthropology with a minor in chemistry. Following this, he gained acceptance to the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he successfully completed a doctor of veterinary medicine. Later, Jonathan Rubinstein, DVM, gained additional experience as a student at the Makerere School of Veterinary Medicine in Kampala, Uganda, and as an intern with the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center. In addition to further training with several other veterinary facilities, he completed a residency in avian, reptile, and amphibian medicine with BluePearl Veterinary Partners.
At present, Dr. Rubinstein utilizes his training as an associate veterinarian with the County Chase Veterinary Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Furthermore, he volunteers his services at Sarasota, Florida-based Save Our Seabirds, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of birds.
