About Jonathan Little

Jonathan Little was born on December 22, 1984 in Pensacola, Florida. His passion for poker started in his student years, when he was studying psychology in the University of West Florida. Playing along with his friends, poker became more and more interesting to Jonathan Little. He started reading books and articles, which helped him improve his skills and obtain more complex poker knowledge. Later, he started playing online poker games, under the nickname Fiery Justice (a nickname that frightens a lot of players around the online tournaments society).

Jonathan played mainly cash games and multi-table tournaments, but mainly preferred the single-table sit and goes. Earning the amount of $35,000 in just six months through online games, he decided to play poker professionally. It was obvious to him that playing poker would be far more profitable than continuing his education and making a career in the psychology circles. So after starting the "Ship It Holla Ballas" crew, which was intended to gather a group of poker players determined to win the highest stakes tournaments in the world, he took part in the SNGIcons.com site for poker training, where he and his team helped other players improve their game play.

At the age of 21, Jonathan Little started taking part in live poker tournaments. His first appearance was in the 2006 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, where he made four cashes. Even though his cashes were all under $10,000, Jonathan Little didn’t break down and this poor result actually motivated him to move on to another tournament.
The biggest achievement of Jonathan Little was winning the 2007 edition of the World Poker Tour Mirage Poker Showdown, which earned him the amazing amount of $1,066,295. This victory made him famous throughout the poker communities all around the world. Jonathan Little was also chosen for the World Poker Tour Season VI player of the year. Other big cashes of his were in the WPT North American Poker Championship in Niagara Falls (earning $715,702) and the Caribbean Poker Championship (earning $317,000).

Jonathan Little also participated in the Caribbean poker Championship, where he actually got his first touch with the World Poker Tour’s final table. He finished fifth - a statement for a serious player to arise. Up to 2008, the total earnings of Jonathan Little as a professional poker player exceeded $2,500,000. As well as playing, he does poker coaching too, which makes him a very interesting character in the poker community. Nowadays he lives in Las Vegas, NV and can often be found playing live in Vegas’s Bellagio Hotel. He also appears in the Full Tilt Poker Site, playing live tournaments, where he was recently claimed a “site pro”.
