About John J. Gavin
John Gavin is the former Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Southland Micro Systems Inc. John Gavin oversaw all activities in the memory manufacturing outfit for 11 years before founding his current venture, Shoreline Networks, Inc., in 2006. With offices in nearby Capistrano Beach, California, Shoreline Networks, Inc. is a successful enterprise dealing in information technology electronics. John Gavin carries brands like Cisco, Nortel, 3Com, HP, and Sun at Shoreline Networks, Inc., top brands that are in high demand. In the two years John Gavin has directed Shoreline Networks, Inc., the annual rise in revenue has been in the neighborhood of 80%, largely due to Mr. Gavin's dedication to superior products and top-notch service. John Gavin attended the University of New Hampshire, located in Durham. As an undergraduate student working toward his Bachelor of Arts degree in American History and English, John was active in many campus activities, including the lacrosse team. During his time on the school's Division I men's lacrosse team, he had the opportunity to attend the 1986 NCAA National Men's Lacrosse Tournament Quarter Finals. When not running his independent electronics distribution business or coaching lacrosse, John Gavin enjoys participating in a wide range of activities, including standup paddleboarding, ice hockey, scuba diving, and running. Mr. Gavin is an avid reader with a particular fondness for Jon Krakauer, John Berendt, and Anne Rice.
