About John Hyltin
Orlando, Florida, strategic advisor John Hyltin identifies and assesses problems at companies and aims to provide creative guidance regarding resource allocation and financial solutions that turn around businesses and generate increased revenue. John Hyltin also leads and motivates teams to achieve company goals, as well as develops and administers procedures that seek to increase the efficiency of administrative and corporate functions. He has turned around multimillion-dollar companies and high-volume manufacturing facilities, forged relationships with cross enterprises, and interacted with boards of directors and stakeholders to determine the best courses of action for companies.
Currently, John Hyltin serves as Managing Director of Client Resolutions for Covendium, which maintains offices in New York and Orlando, where he concentrates on turning around businesses that can no longer afford debt service payments and need help restructuring their obligations. John Hyltin focuses on capital structuring, solution implementation, resolution alternatives and strategies, and creditor negotiation.
He holds membership in the Turnaround Management Association, a Chicago-based organization dedicated to corporate renewal. John Hyltin joins 9,000 members, consisting of turnaround practitioners, attorneys, lenders and bankers, and other professionals involved in the areas of academics, government, and recruiting. In addition, he belongs to the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, a group that serves business turnaround consultants, financial advisors, accountants, crisis managers, lenders, and investment bankers in the restructuring, business turnaround, and bankruptcy sectors.
John Hyltin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. He possesses licensure as a Certified Public Accountant and holds membership in the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a professional association that boasts almost 370,000 members from 128 countries.
John Hyltin enjoys a number of personal pursuits. He likes to play golf and fly multi-engine planes, and he acts as an Instructor for scuba diving students. He sat on the Boards of Directors for the Episcopal School of Dallas, as well as for a local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. John Hyltin also supports a number of charities, including The Gideons International and the International Justice Mission.
