About John Hallal
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Bucknell University, John Hallal earned his law degree from Boston College Law School in 1991. Now a successful legal entrepreneur, he also takes time to coach little league and serve as an Adjunct Lecturer at Babson University. In addition, John Hallal enjoys running, golf, and skiing. He is a highly accomplished tennis player and a member of a USTA Tennis Team as well.
In 1991, John Hallal began his law career with Gadsby Hannah LLP. Over 12 years, he became well versed in all aspects of business law, including litigating trade secret and non-competition matters. He also developed strategies to protect clients’ intellectual property against infringement by departing employees.
Currently, John Hallal plays an active role in numerous ventures catering to start-up and emerging enterprises in a range of high-growth sectors. As Managing Director of Network Blue, Inc., he counsels companies on marketing strategies, growth, and mergers and acquisitions. He also helps prepare businesses for sale.
A Partner with Acceleration Law Group, John Hallal provides legal services for emerging businesses. These services include licensing and technology transfer, executive compensation, commercial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Hallal also advises companies on managing corporate disputes and employment law. He works to resolve complex legal and business issues while maintaining a commitment to his clients’ needs and commercial objectives.
On the financing end of the industry, John Hallal holds a membership in Boston Harbor Angels, an angel investor group with ties to more than 25 emerging companies in such fields as health care, medical devices, and consumer products. Hallal works with the screening committee to determine the eligibility of businesses with investment potential.
