About John Goldener
Dr. John F. Goldener is the Founder and President of Goldener Executive Search Associates, a firm that specializes in executive-level placements in the medical field. In this role, John Goldener expertly matches medical executives with a variety of positions specific to their experiences and personalities. To date, John Goldener has recruited hundreds of qualified leaders with positions in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. Possessing a substantial network of contacts, John Goldener is a member of numerous prestigious medical organizations, including the American Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society for Medical Oncology, and the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology. John Goldener, who speaks French fluently, has successfully expanded Goldener Executive Search Associates across the Atlantic.
John Goldener shifted his focus to the business side of the medical field in 2000 when he left his position as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Lankenau Hospital to take up executive search. Prior to his work in the recruitment field John Goldener, a licensed pediatrician, held various positions with Pennsylvania's Main Line Hospitals.
An alumnus of Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, John Goldener graduated with his Master of Medical Management (MMM) in 1999. John Goldener also possesses a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Georgetown University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Georgetown College.
When he is not working, John Goldener enjoys gardening, skiing, photography, writing, and cooking. An avid reader, John Goldener particularly enjoys the works of Joseph Campbell.
Dr. John F. Goldener currently resides in Pennsylvania.
