In 2009, Dechert LLP in Philadelphia extended Johnathan Perkins an invitation to serve as a Summer Associate in the firm’s Diversity Law Group. There, he performed comprehensive research and writing assignments for the Commercial Litigation Group. During the same period, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals chose him as an intern for its in-house legal department.
Throughout his three-year study of law, Johnathan Perkins expanded his knowledge of the practice of legal matters and the courts. As a Summer Associate for Barley Snyder LLC, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he developed research and legal documentation for many of the firm’s practice groups. He also served as a Legal Intern for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, where he worked for Judge James Murray Lynn.
