About Jim Giombetti
James Giombetti's unique, hands-on approach to business management, expansion, and marketing has resulted in quantifiable improvements for all of the businesses with which he has employed his skills. Since he began his current position as Magnale, LLC's President and CEO in 2008, James Giombetti has focused his efforts on restructuring and rejuvenating regional infrastructure in pursuit of his goal to assist businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions to address the issues holding regions back from competing successfully on a global level. To achieve this, James Giombetti invented CommerceAuthority, an innovative platform that facilitates the interaction of trading partners as they strive to address crucial obstacles in developing profitable trading relationships globally.
James Giombetti's wide variety of experience includes supplychain management, logistics, strategic marketing, contract management and administration. Prior to becoming the respected leader of Magnale, LLC, James Giombetti worked as the Vice President of Business Development for TNT Logistics in Linthicum, Maryland, from 1995 to 1997. In this role, James Giombetti reported directly to the CEO as part of a senior team of management professionals.
James Giombetti held accountability for sales and all aspects of developing the marketing components of TNT Logistics for U.S. operations, for which he helped expand contracted revenue from $23 million to $76 million during the course of approximately 2 years. James Giombetti's achievements in integrating and formalizing business development processes via a multifaceted business development process resulted in TNT Logistics certification as one of the few companies nationwide to achieve ISO9001 certification for business development.
James Giombetti received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and has since gone on to serve as Vice-Chairman of the Board at Mid-Valley Hospital in Peckville, Pennsylvania. Additionally, James Giombetti regularly participates in several professional organizations, including the Council of Logistics Management, Northeastern Pennsylvania Venture Association, and the Pennsylvania Technology Council.
