Jessica Magro graduated from Moses Brown School in Providence, RI, and attends Yale University. She was the 2013 Presidential Scholar for Rhode Island, an AP Scholar, and a National Merit Finalist. She scored a 2390 on her SATs, along with a 5 in AP Calculus AB, 5 in English Language, and 800 on SAT 2 Math 1. Jessica is passionate about the sciences, theatre, poetry, and American Sign Language. She performs musical theatre in professional venues throughout New England. Her favorite roles include Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Cat in the Hat in Seussical. She was the Editor in Chief of Moses Brown’s literary magazine, Omnia, and received a scholarship to study sign language at Gallaudet University’s summer immersion program. Jessica founded an award-winning theatre enrichment program, Theatre Therapy, which brings theatre to underserved communities to build social skills, communication skills, and confidence. Jessica specializes in college application writing (top-ranked universities such as Wesleyan have said that her college essays "stood out in the sea of college applications"), interview preparation (both Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania both stated that she had "the best interview skills of the [2012-13] applicant pool"), and general college admissions (having been admitted to Ivy League institutions such as Brown, Dartmouth, and UPenn, with full scholarships to both Harvard and Yale).
