Jessica Dutton - Professional Summary:     As an introduction to me, from a young age I have always been interested in drama, I studied it at school, went to a stage school for four years and took part in many productions. But my abilities and passion to be an actress were not as high as what would be needed to work in the industry. So by the time I was 16 I found another passion...children. I had already been babysitting in my local area, but after taking Child Development at GCSE I decided it was my way forward, so i went on to college to do Child Care and Education level 3. During this part of my life I was working at coffee shops and learnt that it deffinately wasn't the right place for me! So I left and went to work at the stage school where I had been taught. This made me think about what I really wanted to do with my life...I loved drama, children and hated working in 'normal' jobs for a boss. I wanted to be my own boss. So when a few parents that I babysat for asked me if I could teach their children privately, I was thrilled! I had a boost of energy and in December 2007 I began my own buisness - Theatrix Kidz, teaching acting, singing and dancing to children. It was a perfect solution to my life ambitions.

 

Now in it's second year Theatrix Kidz has grown as I have. We are currently based in village halls in Lichfield and Longdon and schools around Walsall and Rugeley. But my aim is to spread the classes nationwide and who knows....maybe even worldwide!

Jessica Dutton - Interests:   While my main interest is my business as it needs alot of time and effort to make it work. I do still take part in some plays either on stage or backstage.
