Jessamy Tang, a Partner with MCE Partners, LLC in New York City, began her career in the media and entertainment industry more than 15 years ago, working in the marketing department for ABC Radio Networks. During her 12 years with Disney, Jessamy Tang performed a variety of roles. Working in New York as the Director of Enterprises for ESPN, Jessamy Tang oversaw the network’s first interactive television deal and negotiated content distribution agreements. After working directly with the President of the ABC Radio Division, Jessamy Tang moved to Pittsburgh to take over as the President and General Manager of the ESPN/ABC Radio station. While there, Jessamy Tang vastly increased audience share and revenue, earning her station the Achievement in Radio award four times and the Sports Personality of the Year award once. In 2002, Jessamy Tang began her own sports and media consulting business, Jessamy, Inc., in Palo Alto, California. Jessamy Tang spent three years catering to prominent clients, including the Miami Dolphins, Grupo Latino de Radio and Stanford Graduate School of Business’ program with the National Football League. After a short break from the radio industry, Jessamy Tang organized the purchase of two Boston area ESPN-affiliate stations in 2005 as the President and Chief Executive Officer of J Sports Boston. Adding to her previous successes in sports radio, Jessamy Tang oversaw the development of the leading radio station in the Boston market. During her three years with the company, Jessamy Tang proved indispensable in facilitating partnerships with area organizations, nurturing relationships with the New England Patriots and others. Jessamy Tang graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science. A three-sport athlete in college, Jessamy Tang remains active in MIT athletics as a member of the MIT Corporation Visiting Committee. In addition, Jessamy Tang holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
