Jeremie Aliadere is a professional football player who was born on March 30, 1983 in Rambouillet, France.


At the age of sixteen, Jeremie Aliadere signed with Arsenal and was a part of the youth team that won the FA Youth Cup in 2000 and 2001. He also holds the record for the most number of goals in a campaign along with Michael Owen. Jeremie Aliadere made his premiership debut for the club in its game against Fulham in 2001-02, and he came in for Thierry Henry in the club’s 4-1 victory. On August 27, 2002, this striker scored his first goal for this club in its playoff against West Bromwich Albion, and they won the game 5-2. In the following season, Jeremie Aliadere appeared in 10 premier league matches and also made his FA Cup debut against Manchester United. During this season, he scored four goals for Arsenal in its League Cup campaign and was also named as the “The Best Young Talent” in the 2003-2004 Carling Cup, when he scored four times in three appearances.


In 2005, Jeremie Aliadere signed a contract with Arsenal that keeps him in the club until the summer of 2009. During the Scottish 2005-06 season, he was sent as a loan player to Celtic, where he made two appearances for the club one in each leg of Celtic's UEFA Champions League. On August 24, 2005, the loan contract was transferred to West Ham United, but later, he moved to Wolves on loan for the remainder of the 2005-06 season. In the 2006-07 season, Jeremie Aliadere played for Arsenal in the League Cup games and scored both the goals in the club’s 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on October 24, 2006. On January 9, 2007, Jeremie Aliadere helped his team, Arsenal, defeat Liverpool 6-3 in the quarter-final, and he scored a goal and set up two more goals for his team. In the second leg of the semi-final against Tottenham, he helped his team to gain 2-1 advantage in the match by scoring a goal. In the same season, Jeremie Aliadere also won a runners-up medal in 2006-2007. As of January 9, 2007, he has played 37 times for Arsenal and had eight goals to his credit.


On June 19, 2007, Jeremie Aliadere moved to Middlesbrough F.C. for an initial fee of £2 million. He scored his first goal for Middlebrough in its Premier League match against Manchester United and his second against Wigan. He followed it up by scoring his third goal against Fulham F.C., later in 2008; he scored goals against Arsenal and Manchester City to finish the season on a high.


Jeremie Aliadere displayed great skills and also had the natural ability, which earned him the title 'the next Thierry Henry’. To his friends and teammates, he is known by his nickname “Ali”.
