Jeff Shulman, the COO of Card Player Magazine is a gifted poker player and very passionate about the game. This 33 year old, along with his father, Barry Shulman, who is the owner and publisher, has taken Card Player Magazine to new heights, making it extremely successful. A keen businessman, Jeff Shulman is no less talented when it comes to playing poker. He has been playing the game since he was in 3rd grade and today is a skillful poker professional. Nicknamed “Happy”, he is very comfortable on the green poker table and has managed quite a few cashes and big money finishes in his career as a poker player.

The year 2000 was a watershed year for Jeff Shulman in terms of success at the poker table. It saw him display his impressive poker skills at the 31st Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). He finished 7th in Event #25 of the World Championship, playing in the No Limit Hold'em category, and took home a cool sum of $146,700 as prize money. That year, in fact, was among the most successful ones for Jeff Shulman who had a string of money finishes.
