First inspired to hit the Hip Hop scene through the threshold of an Emcee, Jeff Jackson made a smooth transition into the behind-the-scenes of creating music.Now an Engineer and major of Audio Production, he works to capture the authenticity of sound during the recording process – and while mixing – merges both his artistic vision with the artist’s own to create a vivid result. Sound imagery is how he best describes his craft, where he attempts to build an image in the listener’s head so they feel like they’re seeing an artist live and in person while listening to them through their headphones or in a car. Norman Vincent Peale once said that the trouble with most of us is that we would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism, but in the case of jeff, his mind is an open world he’s ready to continue building.
