A prominent Southern California vascular and cosmetic surgeon, Jeffrey Kronson, MD, FACS, completed comprehensive coursework in his field prior to founding a private practice. Dr. Kronson began his academic studies at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, where he made the dean’s honor roll every semester before earning a Bachelor of Science in Medicine. Dr. Kronson remained at the institution to complete his MD and subsequently pursued a series of postdoctoral opportunities. Following a year as an intern with USC University Hospital, Jeffrey Kronson, MD, undertook a residency at USC. After two years in that role, he left to complete a fellowship in surgical infectious disease at the University of Minnesota; during his time there, he further augmented his knowledge with a Master’s degree in Experimental Surgery. Dr. Kronson then returned to California and served as chief resident with USC University Hospital for an additional two years. He later secured vascular fellowships with Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center (now Rush University Medical Center) in Chicago, Illinois, and Stanford Hospital & Clinics in Palo Alto, California. After seven years in general and vascular surgery, Jeffrey Kronson, MD, branched out and trained in medical aesthetics and cosmetic surgery. Boasting a specialized knowledge in this field, Dr. Kronson currently acts as President and CEO of Gia Laser Aesthetic Center in Claremont, California.

As the head of this diverse practice, Jeffrey Kronson, MD, assists clients in a number of ways. Committed to working with patients to achieve the image and lifestyle they desire, he offers procedures such as Botox, five-minute rhinoplasties, and non-invasive face contouring. Outside of his efforts with patients, Dr. Kronson strives to strengthen the greater medical community by regularly publishing his insights in noted journals and appearing at professional symposiums. Among other papers, Dr. Kronson contributed “Cigarette Smoking Alters the Rabbit Transarterial Wall Oxygen Gradient” to Annals of Vascular Surgery and presented “Efficacy of the Two-Layer (UW Solution/Perfluorochemical) Method for Pancreatic Reservation Prior to Islet Isolation,” to the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. Jeffrey Kronson, MD, holds membership in a number of professional organizations, among them the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and Los Angeles Surgical Society.
