Jeff Drazan garnered invaluable knowledge toward his interests and career by attending two prestigious higher education institutions. He first went to the Ivy League school Princeton University in New Jersey, where he studied engineering. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Drazan returned to school at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, located in Manhattan, where he earned a Master of Business Administration. Since finishing college, Jeff Drazan has established an impressive resume, serving as a engineer and engineering manager at AT&T and in the financial industry as a venture capitalist and private equity investor. Jeff Drazan co-founded and served as Managing Director of the venture capital firm Sierra Ventures, which operates out of Silicon Valley. During his tenure there, Sierra Ventures invested over $1.5 billion in capital. The firm continues to succeed to this day, managing 9 partnerships. Additionally, Jeff Drazan offered his expertise to AT&T and its former research and development subsidiary, Bell Laboratories, where he fulfilled various managerial and operational roles. Currently, Drazan serves as the Managing Partner of private equity firm Bertram Capital, where he oversees the company’s investments in technology, business services, manufacturing, and operations. Bertram Capital invests most heavily in lower middle-market companies. Jeff Drazan and colleagues strive to help the company’s investments succeed in the long-term, offering the advantage of their insight and managerial skills. Drazan handles investments with a hands-on approach, taking responsibility for the growth of each company. Jeff Drazan serves on the Boards of Extrusion Dies, Inc, Sanare, Power Distribution, Inc, Author Solutions, Procon, One Distribution. and Theravance, Inc. Previously, Jeff Drazan served as Chairman of FrontBridge Technologies Inc., a provider of corporate email, compliance, and availability systems which was sold to Microsoft Corporation. Drazan directed a number of other businesses, including Micro Power Electronics, Digital Generation Systems, and On Assignment Inc., a job placement specialist.
