Jean (Gigi) Pritzker - Biography
Jean (Gigi) Pritzker (born 1962) hails from the prestigious Pritzker family of Chicago, America. The family is one of America’s affluent and listed on the Forbes Magazine’s “America’s Richest Families” chart with a combined wealth of $15 billion.
Jean’s grandfather, A.N. Pritzkre, along with his sons, Jay and Robert, founded the industrial conglomeration – the Marmon Group and the Hyatt hotel chain (207 hotels across the globe). The family’s business interest includes the Superior Bank of Chicago, the TransUnion Credit Bureau, and the Royal Caribbean Cruise lines.
The Legacy of the Pritzkers
Jean Pritzker graduated from the Stanford University with a Bachelor degree in Arts & Science. Her business acumen in hotels and investments increased the fortune of the Pritzker family and made her a leading luminary in Chicago, America. She has been regularly featured on the Billionaires’ list in America for the past several years and currently ranks 236th on the Forbes 400 list of ‘The 400 Richest Americans 2009’.

Community Services and Jean Pritzker
Jean’s Penchant for welfare of the society has made her committed to several munificent organizations such as Children Affected by Aids Foundation, Pritzker Pucker Family Foundation, and Pritzker Early Childhood Foundation. Currently, she is the President of the board of the Chicago Children’s Museum.
Jean Pritzker’s Foray into Film Making
Jean co-founded the Odd Lot Entertainment, which ventured into movies, television, and theatrical programs. She produced movies such as, ‘The Wedding Planner’, ‘The Open Road’, ‘The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing’, to name a few. Through her company, Dee Gee Theatricals, she develops and promotes onstage productions such as SNAPSHOTS – a musical entertainment, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET – a complete rock-n-roll convert, etc.
Jean, at present, resides in Lincoln Park, Chicago and has three children.
