About Jean Galvanis
Jean Galvanis serves as Chairman and Founder of Spectrum IT, Inc., a management consulting firm offering strategic IT architecture and planning services. Based in Washington, D.C., the firm has achieved national recognition, serving its prominent clients with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Under Galvanis’ leadership, Spectrum IT notably earned the distinguished Consulting Gold Medal Award. Galvanis holds extensive professional experience in all aspects of enterprise decision support systems. His career achievements include developing an advanced enterprise architecture methodology known as the Spectrum Methodology. With Spectrum IT, he actively oversees client services and technology development aspects of the business. Clients served by Jean Galvanis in his role as an Enterprise Architecture Strategy Consultant with Spectrum IT include Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Inc.; Advertising.com/AOL Inc.; Kaiser Permanente; and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Prior to founding Spectrum IT, Galvanis served as Principal Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited from 1990 to 2001. Engaged in data architecture and project management responsibilities, he worked for clients such as Aetna Financial Services; JPMorgan Chase and Co.; Empire of America FSB; Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.; and Quick & Reilly/Fleet Securities, Inc. Earlier in his career, he served as a Research Economist and Analyst for the International Monetary Fund. Jean Galvanis studied economics and statistics at the University of Bangui and completed his Master of Arts in Economics and Quantitative Analysis at Western Illinois University. His educational history includes coursework in an information technology doctorate program at Columbia Business School, as well as systems analysis training at Oracle University. Jean Galvanis serves as a member of Information Management and the African Diaspora Coalition of North Carolina.
