I am a Liberian journalist who have been this field for over two decades. I previously worked for the BBC African Service as Liberian Correspondent for over six year, and operate a local news agency, the Global News Network which publishes a bi-weekly newspaper, The Star and also run a website, www.gnn.theliberiantimes.com, this site publishes stories from Liberia, Africa and the rest of the world. I have worked for several local and international news agencies, including the German Press Agency (DPA), the TROUW Newspaper of the Netherlands and many others. I am working on a project to build community radio stations in my country, Liberia. The objective of this project is to adequately inform, educate rural dwellers of the danger HIV/AIDS and other deadly diseases poses to these rural dwellers.
