I currently manage an ecommerce site that features Israeli jewelry - www.studiosabra.com. Before moving to Israel in December 2005, I spent 8 years at World Publications, now Bonnier Corporation. (www.worldpub.net ). World Publications is a publishing company that specializes in lifestyle and special interest niche and travel markets. The company has 40 plus titles, including Islands Magazine, Caribbean Travel and Life, Sport Fishing, Sport Diver , Saveur and Garden Design. At World Publications I worked on the company's Internet initiative with the goal of establishing a web presence for the company's magazines. My major focus has been on content management and internet marketing. My responsibilities included writing and producing material for offline and online advertising, managing a database research team, mapping out site navigation for internet developers, management of intellectual property, including the procurement of domain names, copyrights and trademarks.
Before this I had a 20 year career in the hospitality industy that culminated with me working as Assistant General Manager for Planet Hollywood, Tel Aviv.
