Jared Hodgkiss is an English football player, who was born on November 15, 1986 in Stafford. He plays as a defender in the right-back position and was a great fan of English footballer Paul Gascoigne during his childhood days.

Jared Hodgkiss played for the Wolves as a schoolboy and joined the English football club, West Bromwich Albion, as a youth player in February 2003. He gave consistent performances for the club and became a regular in the reserve team during the 2005-06 season. Jared Hodgkiss soon progressed to the senior side of the club and made his debut for it on January 17, 2006 in the third round of the 2006 Football Association (FA) Cup match against Reading at the Madejski Stadium. In the final match of the 2005-06 season, by coming on as a substitute for Steve Watson, his team-mate, in a match against Everton, he made his first appearance in a Premiership match for West Bromwich at Goodison Park. Jared Hodgkiss won the confidence of the club’s manager, Tony Mowbray, and was made captain of the reserve team of the club. He has represented West Bromwich Albion in eight games as of August 2008.

Jared Hodgkiss extended his contract with the club for two more years in August 2007. He made his full-league debut for West Bromwich in its win over Leicester City on December 8, 2007. He went on loan to the Scottish football club, Aberdeen, on August 28, 2008 until January, 2009.
