About James Patton
James Patton is a funeral industry consultant, as well as a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
His funeral service career began as a chapel representative while in college. James Patton then attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Texas. After graduating with honors and distinction, he continued to serve his provisional licensing term in Texas. Upon becoming dually-licensed as a funeral director and embalmer, Mr. Patton’s career afforded him tremendous opportunities in both independent and corporate firms. His experience has included funeral home and cemetery location management, upper-level general management and a number of leadership roles in sales and marketing.
Today, as an independent funeral industry and marketing consultant, James Patton and staff assists funeral service providers in all aspects of funeral service management. Focus areas include start-up operations, licensing matters, staffing initiatives, as well as sales and marketing strategies. An enhanced social media division has recently been developed, to assist funeral homes with brand management and development of social media programs. Training consultations are available as well.
