• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with large corporate entities in London and throughout Europe, broking futures and options trades on their behalf, including Energies, FX and Equity Indexes

• Managing an extensive client portfolio and acquiring expert market knowledge through taking trades and interaction with other industry professionals

• Responsible for the assessment of risk management procedures and for preparing daily reports on profit and loss

Key Achievements

• Working collaboratively with other departments to develop City Index’s’ product offering, increasing the number of markets offered by a factor of ten

• Identifying the latency in the company’s price engine, costing the company up to £2 million per year, and building an SQL server report to identify trades taking place outside of acceptable parameters for latency thereby enabling the eradication of activity such as scalping and arbitrage

• Personally responsible for building options pricing models to incorporate volatility and fair value using Reuters and Bloomberg functions
