About James Glover
James Glover - Professional Summary: With many years of experience, James Glover is a respected financial industry professional. James Glover received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Accounting in 1979 from Franklin & Marshall College before earning his MBA from New York University in 1984. James Glover started his career with Merrill Lynch in 1980. While there, James Glover gained the title of Vice President of Mortgage Relocation and Origination, a position responsible for the development of annual budgets and oversight of relocation billing and collections. James Glover remained with Merrill Lynch until accepting a position with Drexel Burnham Lambert Investment Banking Firm as Senior Vice President of Accounting and Budgeting. Most recently, however, James Glover worked with RBS/Greenwich Capital from 1990 until 2010, serving as Managing Director and maintaining a wide array of responsibilities. Key areas of accountability included Hedge Fund Reporting, Firm Funding and U.S. Department of the Treasury Management, North American Settlements and Collateral Management, and all Operational Reporting. In his time with RBS/Greenwich Capital, James Glover was recognized for several major accomplishments such as renegotiating clearing and futures agreements that saved the firm approximately $2 million annually, creating several firm funding tools, and serving as Operational Head for Systems Equity Integrations. In addition to his professional career, James Glover is also a member of several industry associations. James Glover sits on the Government Operations Committee for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) as well as the Government National Mortgage Association’s (GNMA) Conversion Committee, where he presented conversion plans to the dealership community. Outside of his professional life in the financial industry, James Glover is a family man and former Division III college basketball player with a passion for athletics.
