About Jack Tindal
Since 2002, Jack Tindal has held a number of senior-level positions as a human resources executive. From 2002 to 2005, Jack Tindal served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources with Atria Retirement and Assisted Living. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Atria employs more than 5,000 people throughout the United States.
Atria’s equity partner recruited Jack Tindal to reengineer the human resources department. During his tenure with the company, Jack Tindal managed a department comprising 15 human resource professionals. He successfully renegotiated the company’s employee benefits package, which led to savings of more than $6 million. Jack Tindal also restructured the paid time off program, which saved the company an additional $2.8 million. With regard to management and employee retention, Jack Tindal created a management training program that helped improve retention by 35 percent. A separate initiative to implement a better recruitment program led to a decrease in management turnover by 27 percent.
In 2005, Jack Tindal moved to the MedAssist Group, Inc., a financial consulting firm that provides advisory services to health care institutions. MedAssist hired Jack Tindal to help the company prepare its human resources department to handle the next phase of growth. In his capacity as a member of the senior executive team, Jack Tindal served as Chief Compliance Officer responsible for the consistent application of HR policies, practices, and initiatives throughout the company. During his tenure, company turnover dropped by 22 percent. After three years with MedAssist, Jack Tindal joined MedExpress Urgent Care, based in Morgantown, West Virginia. The rapidly expanding company sought Jack Tindal’s expertise to overhaul the human resources operations across several states. His responsibilities included managing physician recruitment, overseeing performance management, and training and development.
In 2009, Jack Tindal accepted a position with Firstsource Solutions Ltd., a global business outsourcing firm. As Vice President for Human Resources of the company’s North American division, Jack Tindal manages a staff of 21, sits on the global HR team, and works closely with executive management in the United States and India.
