Israel Franklin made the All-State basketball team in 2008 and 2009. He attended East Saint John High School After Huricane Katrina. He averaged 25 points a game 9.5 rebounds and 11 asists. He lead his team to the 2008 state championship. When they were crowned 2008 state champions. He also played football. where he led the district in interceptions. he finished with 15. in basketball he was recruted by kentucky, kansas, LSU, USC, Oregon, Maramount...etc

Israel Franklin currently attends Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He plays free safety/wide reciever. He is the # 1 safety in mississippi. He broke the record for most interceptions in a season ending with 15. He also led his team with 66 tackles and 4 sacks this season. He is getting recruited heavily by Auburn,Alabama, Miami,Texas,LSU Florida, Florida State, USC, Cal, and Oregon
