About Isaac Baron

Isaac "Menlo" Baron was born July 10, 1987 in Menlo Park, California.

Isaac Baron achieved poker fame at young age by making several notable finishes in online poker biggest events. He started his career at the young age of 18, playing in various online poker sites under the alias "westmenloAA". Isaac Baron has made more money playing poker online before the age of 20 than most adults make their whole lives.
When Baron was starting out, He read pretty much anything He could get my hands on, played a ton, thought about the game for hours straight, and tried different tactics and methods.
In an interview with Bluff magazine he stated that instructional videos by CardRunners co-founder and instructor Taylor Caby were probably the most instrumental resource in developing his cash-game skills.
Today Isaac Baron now has his own videos in the CardRunners archive covering tournament play and attributes much of his early success to CardRunners instruction.
He has won in the PokerStars Sunday Million for $254,517, the Full Tilt $750,000-guaranteed tournament ($133,000) and a $200 rebuy event on PokerStars ($75,000). He became the first-ever Card Player Online Player of the Year in 2007, at the age of 20.

But Isaac Baron has not only been able to take home big sums at online events, He has also done well translating his online success into large takings in live games. His favorite live game is tournaments, because of the deep stacks, the atmosphere, and of course the larger prize pools.

Isaac Baron is unable to play in live events in the United States because of his young age, but he made up for it by competing in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in 2006, where he finished in 101st, cashing $11,790 and in the same year he participated in the World Poker Tour North American Poker Championship and secured the 18th place, cashing $62,781.

But these were small takes compared to the performance by Isaac Baron in 2008. He finished fourth out of 842 in the 2008 European Poker Tour Grand Final which pocketed him more than $931,000.

Isaac Baron has used some of his cash wins to buy a large house in Menlo Park, and a Maserati. He also invests a lot of my money into mutual funds to secure his future. Despite the rumors spread on the Internet, right now he has no interest in moving to Las Vegas: Baron loves living where he does now. He has lots of great friends there, and he lives near his family, which is good for him.

Isaac Baron is a big sports fan, He likes playing and watching basketball, He also likes to party and play video games. The Celtics are my favorite basketball team
