Ira Gleser also spearheaded another program that was the first of its kind at Newell Rubbermaid's Tools and Hardware division, a fully integrated national promotion designed to fully activate the division's NASCAR sponsorship. Ira Gleser facilitated the creation of the IRWIN Ultimate Tradesman Challenge, overseeing a campaign that took place in more than 30 states, featuring over 150 events, and generating $4 million in incremental sales. Ira Gleser also directed the development of an online promotion for VISE-GRIP, which Newell Rubbermaid’s creative team dubbed “Tell Us Your VISE-GRIP Story.” With Ira Gleser’s assistance, the campaign produced impressive results, generating 2,500 story submissions and more than 60,000 sweepstakes entries.
Prior to joining Newell Rubbermaid, Ira Gleser served as Field Marketing Director of Charles Schwab’s Eastern Retail Division, managing 75 branch locations spread across 14 states. In this capacity, Ira Gleser formed lucrative strategic partnerships with key players in the luxury brand market including Nordstrom, Inc., Tiffany & Co.; and Mercedes-Benz, LLC. Currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ira Gleser employs his skills as a contract marketing consultant.
