A talk show host with nearly 40 years of experience in radio broadcasting, Ian Punnett is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he hosts the weekend talk show Coast to Coast AM for Premiere Radio Networks. The show airs in the United States and Canada and is syndicated on 525 radio stations. A host on Coast to Coast AM since 1998, Ian Punnett also contributes to the show by writing and researching a diverse range of alternative and paranormal topics.
Ian Punnett can also be heard on myTalk107.1, where he and his wife co-host the morning talk show Ian and Margery. Focusing on pop culture topics, the show is ranked as the number one morning talk show for women. In 2011, Ian Punnett and his wife earned the show a NAB Marconi Award nomination for News/Talk Station of the Year.
Outside of his work in radio broadcasting, Ian Punnett also has a successful career as an author of children’s books. His recent books include Dizzy the Mutt with the Propeller Butt, published by Beaver’s Pond Press in 2010, and Jackula the Vampire Dog, published by Beaver’s Pond Press in 2011. Profits from the sale of the two books were donated to Minnesota nonprofit Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue. Mr. Punnett’s forthcoming book, How to Pray When You’re Pissed at God, will be published by Crown Publishing Group in 2013.
A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Mr. Punnett completed a dual undergraduate degree in English Literature and Rhetoric in 1985. He then went on to receive his Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in Georgia. Mr. Punnett maintains membership in the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, the Association for Episcopal Deacons, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the American Tinnitus Association.
