About Ian McArthur
I am currently working as a CDM Coordinator in the construction industry and have been for the last 3 years. My previous background was in electronics, with 21 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
My current role involves all aspects of Health & Safety in all types of construction and demolition projects. This includes site visits, compilation of Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety File documents, project meetings and general consulting on Health & Safety matters.
I left secondary school with 5 'O' Levels in Arithmetic, Mathematics, English, Physics and French and 1 'H' Level in Mathematics. I then attended college to which I gained an OND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Further qualifications include an Aciident Investigation Certificate and the NEBOSH General Certificate.
My interests include being an SFA Referee, lawn bowls and some racket sports. I am also a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and a member of Inverclyde Council's Childrens Panel.
