About Iain Turner


Iain Turner is a Scottish goalkeeper born on January 26, 1984 in Stirling. He was capped in the U-16 and U-18 levels before being included into the Scotland U-21 during 2004-05 season. He started off his career with Stirling Albion F.C., in 2002-03, during which he made 13 appearances for the team. In January 2003, Iain Turner signed Everton F.C., for a whopping £50,000. He was sent on loan to Chester City F.C., in 2004 and won the Nationwide Conference championship medal later that year.


Iain Turner was sent to two clubs, Doncaster Rovers and Wycombe Wanderers, in 2005, on loan. He made his Premiership debut for Everton football club against Blackburn Rovers, an English Premier League football club. Iain Turner signed for Sheffield Wednesday football club, in February 2007, and his debut was in a home win against Southend United football club, later that month. His impressive performance in the field in all eleven games he participated, including his debut helped the club to avert defeat.
