Hussein Mahrouq is an Arlington, Texas-based entrepreneur who currently owns and operates Mahrouq Enterprises International, Inc., an auto sales, rental and finance company that includes Dollar car rental and auto sales franchises as well as Automax, a new and pre-owned car dealership. All told, Mahrouq Enterprises International takes in over $20 million in annual revenue and sells approximately 150 automobiles each month. As a consumer financier, the company specializes in subprime auto loans for individuals who would otherwise have difficulty obtaining secure financing.
Hussein Mahrouq laid the foundation for his future professional success at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). More recently, he has been an active member of the Boys and Girls Club Donors Society. Mr. Mahrouq has also made regular contributions to the Oakridge School and the Al-Hedayah Academy, two preparatory educational facilities located in the greater Arlington area. Hussein Mahrouq’s classroom performance at UTA earned him a place on the dean’s list. He graduated from the university with a major in Communications and Public Relations and a minor in Business.
Today, Hussein Mahrouq is a card-carrying member of both the Texas Independent Auto Dealers Association (TIADA) and the National Alliance of Buy Here Pay Here Dealers (NABD), a special interest group that focuses exclusively on the needs of auto retailers that arrange and execute their own customer loans. Mr. Mahrouq continues to support the Boys and Girls Club and several other charitable organizations throughout the Arlington region.
